I did not know of that website he linked, i even made a smiley afterwards to convey my friendly tone that it was sincere. So, i think its your own attitude that turned it into a discussion rather than a conversation.I only had a friendly tone, sorry you "heard" it wrong.Grim Dawn is an action role-playing game for the PC, developed by veterans of Iron Lore Entertainment, the creators of Titan Quest.Įnter an apocalyptic fantasy world where humanity is on the brink of extinction, iron is valued above gold and trust is hard earned. Probably requires lots of legal nonsense and certification processes and some such that a small team don't have time for.

Remember GD exists on GOG as well steam isn't the only place it sells.ĮDIT: Medea ninja'd me and it appears I was right and steam workshop support is more work than its worth.

Well you came off as a bit of a ****** with your posts so I guess you're both evenĪs for steam support Ive always presumed its a bit of a pita for developers to add steam support for modding so maybe thats why they have never added 'official' mod support and just kept things more informal through their own website, also worth noting they are far more active on their own forum than here. The 'Utilities and Resources' section contains various tools that cannot be strictly classified as mods as they primarily function outside the game itself, with some overlap depending on the tools functionality. NexusMods has a few I think that aren't represented on the official forum but the forum is the primary hub for all such activity and a good portion of the top modders are found there. The 'Modding Projects' forum section linked above contains most known mods for GD.

There is plenty of mods out there (and have been since the tools were released in 2016). Now it’s time to figure out how to reset mastery levels. So far they have given no indication of intent to add workshop support for whatever reason. I never implied they didnt encourage modding, i pointed out the fact that there is not much mod support here at the steam section, where the game is for the average user.
